We offer daily, weekly, and monthly horse boarding in our spacious barn, complete with in-and-out corrals. All horses must have written proof of current vaccinations and a negative Coggins test. Our ranch provides access to miles of trails, with hundreds more nearby, allowing you to fully experience the stunning wilderness and wildlife of southern Colorado.

  • Eight Mile Ranch is a private facility and not an open ranch. We live on premises, providing 24 hour care to your horses. Read more about our key horse boarding services below:

    • Full care

    • Barn stalls with a run

    • Paddocks with a shelter

    • Heated automatic waterers

    • Hay provided by Eight Mile Ranch twice a day

    • Client provided supplement management at no additional charge

    • Miles of trails

    • Daily, weekly and long-term boarding

    • No box stall boarding

    • No pasture boarding

    • Do not offer self care

  • Pricing is determined on a case-by-case basis, and an initial phone consultation is required for all new clients. Horse Hotel

For those who enjoy the beautiful Royal Gorge campgrounds and want to bring along their equine friends, we offer the perfect solution. You can bring your horse for the day and board them with us at night. Whether you're planning to explore the area on horseback or take a break for some Royal Gorge whitewater rafting on the Arkansas River or a high-flying zip line tour, you can trust that your horse will be well cared for at our "horse hotel”. While you enjoy your vacation, your horse will be enjoying theirs as well.
